Originating on the campus of St. Olaf ten years ago, the 9 singers of Cantus have emerged as one of America's finest professional male vocal ensembles. "The amazing men of Cantus weave their usual spell, with singing of unimaginable (unless you've heard them) precision, sensitivity, and deep emotional power." (American Record Guide)

Tickets: $20.00 at the door or in advance at the ISU Music Department Office, City Hall Community Center desk, Big Table Books, or Rieman Music. To charge tickets: call Ames Community Center, (515) 239-5360.Students of all ages: admitted free with ID. Cost of youth tickets underwritten by Noon Kiwanis.

Master class: Cantus will also be offering a master class, free to attend and open to the public, on April 29, 2006 at 10:00 AM.
The master class is being funded in part with a grant from the Iowa Arts Council, a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts. Additional support comes from Benjamin Design Collaborative and Alliant Energy.
